SEG Federal Credit Union is proud to offer a new program to our debit cardholders. It is called “Prewards”. All you need to do is click on the “Prewards” link, it will take you to the registration site for your card. Enter the information and select how you want to be notified on new offers, and that’s it. Once you see what offers are available to you, you can either shop at that merchant or visit their website. There is no need to keep track of coupons or special offer numbers, simply make your purchase. At the time you see the amount come out of your checking account, you will also receive a credit for the amount of the “electronic coupon”. No need to tell the merchant that you are using it, it is automatic. This is just a small way we can thank you for being a loyal member at SEG Federal Credit Union. Americans can now start signing up for insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace, due to the Affordable Care Act. This will be another opportunity for scam artists to take advantage of unsuspecting consumers. Do NOT give out personal information to anyone who contacts you, only give out information when YOU make contact with a company. When in doubt tell them you need to contact your credit union first and will call them back, and ask for a phone number to reach them.
